The Bible is filled with ministry to population centers.  It’s not that God is unconcerned with the need in the rural areas, but it’s a given that if you have a message of salvation, you need to go where there are people to hear it.  From Jonah preaching in Nineveh to the prophets preaching to the citizens of Jerusalem and Samaria to Paul’s travels to one Mediterranean city after another, the message has often been Divinely sent to cities.
This morning, we’re going to hear from one of our own who will be ministering this summer in an urban setting – taking the Gospel to a population concentration.  Please pray for Ryan as he prepares to serve the Lord in Camden, NJ (across the river from Philadelphia).
